Can a Mouse go to heaven?

When a little mouse wonders if heaven is real,
he begins a journey across California, where each animal he meets has a different answer.
Through this journey of the new environment, he comes with a stronger sense of who he is.

This project is also a way for me to explore how storytelling, local wildlife, and place-based identity can come together in a visual narrative.
I’m especially drawn to animals that are often overlooked—like trout, salamanders, or even the idea of a mouse—and giving them space to wonder, speak, and be remembered.
